1. Services

TintedRims Limited (“we”, “us”) provides wheel painting, brake caliper painting, alloy wheel repair, headlight restoration, and related automotive cosmetic services from our workshop at 215 Main South Road, Hornby, Christchurch 8042.

2. Quotes and pricing

  • All prices on this website are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and exclude GST (15%) unless stated otherwise.
  • Online estimates are indicative only and based on the information you provide.
  • Final pricing is confirmed after physical inspection of your vehicle or wheels.
  • We reserve the right to adjust pricing if additional work is required beyond the original scope.

3. Warranty

We offer a 1-year warranty on our wheel painting and caliper painting services under normal use. This covers peeling, flaking, and defects in our workmanship. The warranty does not cover:

  • Damage from accidents, kerb strikes, or misuse
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage caused by harsh chemicals or improper cleaning
  • Modifications made by third parties after our service

4. Drop-off and collection

  • Vehicles must be dropped off during our operating hours: Monday–Friday 9am–6pm, Saturday 9am–3pm.
  • You are responsible for removing valuables from your vehicle before drop-off.
  • Vehicles not collected within 5 business days of completion may incur a storage fee.

5. Payment

Payment is due upon collection of your vehicle or wheels. We accept bank transfer, cash, and major credit/debit cards. For larger jobs, we may require a deposit before commencing work.

6. Liability

While we take every care with your vehicle and wheels, we are not liable for pre-existing damage, mechanical faults, or issues unrelated to our services. Our liability is limited to the cost of the service provided.

7. Photos and content

We may photograph completed work for use on our website and social media unless you request otherwise. No identifying information (e.g. registration plates) will be shared without your consent.

8. Website use

The content on this website is for general information purposes. We make reasonable efforts to keep information accurate and up to date but make no guarantees. Use of this website is subject to our Privacy Policy.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
